Lena Østgaard is a Legal Advisor on International Law at IOM Law. She works with the regulatory issues and key legal requirements for cross-border transportation and offshore storage of CO2. This includes advising private and public clients on how to develop, implement, interpret and comply with national, regional, and international frameworks related to CCS. 

 

Lena is appointed National Expert for Norway to ISO TC265 and acts as a Technical Expert in the working group dedicated to ship transportation of CO2.

 

​Lena holds two law degrees (LL.B. and LL.M. in Public International Law) from England.
